Creating a Christmas with real character was one of the top priorities of the season. I named the two collections on the Pier 1 site as well as created dialog for each featured Christmas critter.
Pines and Plaid was the more rustic and nostalgic of the two so it was only natural to craft a small story of a tree lot run by a group of forest friends.
The cozy companion to the rustic tree lot is the Sweater Weather collection inspired by the the colorful sweaters and scarves sported by the critters in this lively collection as they prepare for the holidays.

Pier 1 wanted to craft a series of emails showing our customers how to put together a look chosen by one of our stylists and needed a name for it. "Style Stories" was my submission to the call for a name for this project.
“Swipe our style” was chosen for the link to match the data that showed a marked increase in mobile — a nod to popular apps and also a play on our customers swiping the ideas from our stylists.
Now for something completely different! Most anime fans already know what series the want to buy, but sometimes it’s just like browsing at a bookstore, the right art paired with the right description on the back of a dvd can lead someone into their new favorite series.
